Argus the Minotaur
The stories speak of a monstrous Minotaur who prowled the Labyrinth of Crete, a beast of rage and endless hunger.
Argus was not always so different.
In the early days, he was brute strength and chaos made flesh, a creature ruled by instinct and the echoing corridors of his stone prison. But over time, the offerings left wandering in his labyrinth began to teach him something the old stories never mention.
Reverence.
Those who entered his halls were not merely prey. They were sacrifices. Lives given over to the will of kings and gods alike. And Argus, though still bound by the hunger of the beast within him, learned to honor that exchange.
He hunts swiftly.
He wastes nothing.
And every life taken beneath the quiet arches of his labyrinth is met with a silent respect.
Argus is still the Minotaur.
But he is no longer a monster without thought.
He is the keeper of a darker kind of grace.
