Benny the Wendigo

Benny is really trying his best.

He wants to embody the fearsome presence of a proper wendigo. The looming silhouette in the trees. The chilling red eyes. The terrible creature whispered about in old campfire stories. Unfortunately, Benny is… a bit too polite for all that.

Half the time people don’t even realize he’s chasing them because they dropped their wallet. By the time he catches up he’s already apologizing for startling them, antlers drooping while he explains that he’s been practicing his “terrifying forest spirit” routine.

He’s been working very hard on his impressions, you see.

So what if the eyes are a little too far apart. Or the teeth a bit too sharp. Or the dramatic breathing sounds a bit more like nervous wheezing. It’s a work in progress, and Benny is committed to the role.

So if you find yourself in the darkened wood, red eyes gleaming in the trees, a ragged breath breaking the silence.. please don't run. Benny just wants to give you your lunch back... minus a snack or two.

While Benny may look like a fearsome little forest spirit, he is still a carefully handmade creation. Like any stitched creature, he is not built to withstand rough play, tugging, or pulling. Benny is not recommended for small children, as his eyes and other small components may pose a choking hazard.

Each Benny is made to order, and as with any creature born from yarn and a bit of magic, slight variations in eye or yarn color may occur. No two are ever exactly alike. After all, Benny is a unique individual.
