Harlequin Bunlings

The Harlequin Bunlings are the clowns of the troupe, a cheerful flurry of floppy ears, pom-poms, and barely contained mischief. When the lanterns glow and the curtain lifts, they come tumbling out from their nest in a colorful parade, tripping over one another, bonking noses, and performing a series of increasingly ridiculous antics for the crowd.

In true bunny fashion, they move in joyful chaos. One moment they are juggling pom-poms, the next they are tangled together in a heap of giggles, only to spring back to their feet and bow as if it were all part of the act.

Behind the curtain, however, things become slightly more complicated.

Harlequin Bunlings are nearly identical to one another, so each one dons their own carefully chosen color scheme to help the others keep track of who is who. This system would work perfectly if the Bunlings themselves did not constantly switch hats, scarves, and pom-poms in an attempt to keep the mystery alive.

As a result, no one is entirely sure who anyone is backstage. The Bunlings insist this is part of the fun.
