Harlequin Kittens

Where the Bunlings bring chaos and laughter, the Harlequin Kittens bring precision.

These sleek little performers are the magicians of the show. Calm, focused, and entirely uninterested in explaining how they do what they do, Harlequin Kittens approach their craft with a quiet confidence that borders on mysterious. While the rest of the troupe tumbles and giggles through their routines, the Kittens move with practiced grace, appearing and disappearing as if the world itself simply folds around them.

They are masters of contortion, able to slip through spaces far smaller than should be possible. The other creatures often insist the Kittens are made of liquid rather than fur, though the Kittens have never confirmed or denied this claim.

Their specialty lies in sleight of paw and vanishing acts. A pom-pom disappears here, a ribbon reappears there, and before anyone realizes what has happened the trick is already complete.

Unfortunately, their magic is often complicated by the Harlequin Bunlings.

Despite repeated warnings, the Bunlings have developed a terrible habit of sneaking into the Kittens’ hats and props in hopes of making a surprise entrance during the performance. This inevitably results in a very dignified magician pulling a giggling Bunling from a hat where it absolutely does not belong.

The Harlequin Kittens remain professionals about the situation.

But they are getting very tired of it.
