Posie the Bloomling

Posie is a Bloomling, a rare and gentle woodland fey seldom seen by those who walk too quickly through the forest. Small as she is, she carries a very important purpose. With quiet paws and soft wings, Posie scurries along the mossy forest floor collecting tiny dew drops from petals and leaves, carefully delivering them to thirsty bumblebees before the morning sun can steal them away.

She has a special fondness for the young creatures of the woods. It is said that when a newborn fawn struggles to find its footing, Posie may appear nearby, fluttering softly and chirping encouragement until those wobbly legs grow steady. Most never realize she was there at all, though sometimes a single pink petal can be found where she once stood.

Bloomlings are fleeting things and terribly scarce. They prefer the quiet corners of old forests where flowers grow freely and the world still remembers a little magick. To catch even a glimpse of Posie is considered a small blessing, though she will likely vanish the moment she realizes she has been noticed - but not before grabbing a few sweet honeysuckle to store in her pouch for later.

Still, if you ever find a perfectly round dew drop resting in the center of a flower at dawn, there is a good chance Posie has already passed through.
