Marigold and Clover, the Conjoined Twins
Marigold & Clover are gentle souls within the Goblin-Esque Menagerie, conjoined twin baphomets who never quite felt at home among the firelight and fanfare of the darker performers. Instead, they belong to the quiet hush of overgrown gardens and the soft rustle of wildflowers beneath wagon wheels. Though born beneath the same crescent moon as the rest of the troupe, the twins have always felt drawn toward Persephone’s gentler touch; tending flower beds behind the caravan, weaving blossoms into one another’s fur, and leaving impossible trails of clover in places where nothing should grow.
Where they wander, forgotten soil softens. Tiny blooms appear between cracked stones. The air smells faintly of rain and springtime. The troupe lovingly calls them “the soft heart of the caravan,” for even the most weary creatures seem to rest easier in their presence. They are inseparable in every sense of the word: two minds, two hearts, and one quiet devotion to beauty, rebirth, and the fragile magic of living things.
